Like the Giersberg castle, which proudly dominates the region, our Crémant d’Alsace Giersberger Rosé stands out for its unique character and finesse.
This Crémant is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. This Crémant is made in the purest respect for traditional methods, with a second fermentation in the bottle, followed by at least 12 months’ ageing on laths. A dosage of 9 g/l during disgorgement gives it its brut character.
The nose of this Crémant has tangy, aromatic notes of red fruit and apple. The finish is round, soft, refreshing and dry, leaving an impression of ripe red apples.
What to marry it with?
This Crémant is the perfect accompaniment to an aperitif, a cocktail or a cold buffet on a hot summer’s day.
Also great with all red fruit desserts such as raspberry or strawberry.
