The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses to avoid any crushing and to respect the raw material as much as possible. The juices are separated to optimise the quality of our wines. After static settling, the wines ferment under temperature control at around 21°-22°, and are then matured on fine lees for 9 to 11 months. After filtration, the wines are bottled all at once and matured in our cellars for a minimum of 1 to 3 years.
This Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Gloeckelberg has a nose of rose and lychee. Young and well-balanced, it is already open, with complex aromas of fruit, flowers and spices. This is the Gloeckelberg footprint.
What to marry it with?
Enjoy this Grand Cru Gloeckelberg with pan-fried foie gras. Ideal as an aperitif or to enjoy with duck breast with honey, tajine with dried fruit.
