Small hillside vineyard
Haguenau is much more than a locality; it’s the place where our winegrowing history began, where our roots have been intertwined with those of the vine for generations.

Situated at the crossroads of Ribeauvillé and Bergheim, it is an extension of the Grand Cru Osterberg.
It benefits from an ideal south-south-east exposure, and the marl-limestone soils are shallow and very stony.
The wines from Haguenau reveal a perfect harmony between terroir and varietal identity. The Riesling will be very typical, with a fine minerality.

A RICH ECOSYSTEM
Within this terroir, vines grow alongside other species of local flora.
Bordered by rosehips, the Haguenau vineyards owe their name to this thorny shrub from the Rosaceae family, pronounced “Hagebutte” in German.
The present grape varieties
This terroir benefits from soil that is highly suitable for growing Riesling. Every year at harvest time, we are inspired by the magic of Haguenau. It’s a privilege to see our grapes ripen and develop into exceptional wines that bear the indelible imprint of this exceptional terroir. Each of our cuvées is an authentic expression of Haguenau, a celebration of the land, the climate and the know-how that go into every bottle we produce.
