Terroir

Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses to avoid any crushing and to respect the raw material as much as possible. The juices are separated to optimise the quality of our wines. After static settling, the wines ferment under temperature control at around 21°-22°, and are then matured on fine lees for 7 to 9 months. After filtration, the wines are bottled all at once and matured in our cellars for a minimum of 3 years.
This Grand Cru Osterberg Pinot Gris has aromas of dried fruits, hazelnuts, and figs. The palate is full-bodied and well structured. The finish is long and elegant, with a fine sense of balance.
What to marry it with?
Serve this Pinot Gris with roast free-range chicken, a foie gras or game terrine, or goose rillettes. It will also pair beautifully with fish in sauce or vanilla lobster.
